Looking to add depth to your grilled chicken? Try out this marinade! Simple to make, but big in flavors!
Prep time: 10min / Marinating time: 2-4 hours / Cooking time: 10min
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs of boneless chicken breast
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1 lemon
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 small rosemary bunch (leaves only)
- Black pepper to taste
Combine in a big bowl the vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and the rosemary leaves. Zest entirely the lemon, & squeeze the juice into the bowl. Add a pinch of black pepper and stir well.
If the chicken breasts are thick, cut &/or pound until you reach 1 inch thickness. Poke the chicken with a fork.
Add the chicken breasts to the marinade making sure that the chicken is fully immersed. Let marinate for at least 30min, ideally 2-4 hours.
Preheat your grill to 350-400 degrees and place the chicken on the grill. Cook for approximately 5 min, flip, and cook for another 4 min. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the breasts but the internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165 degrees.
Remove from the grill and it is ready to enjoy!
